The weekend after Labor Day, kicked off with the Hudson Valley Wine and Food Festival in Rhinebeck, New York where thousands gathered to taste wines, beer and cider from over 100 wineries, cideries and breweries from around New York State. Announcements and coverage in The New York Times, The Epoch Times, CBS Radioas well as many bloggers took the festival to its best ever results with listings and articles that were effective and efficient. Most of all, everyone had a great time even though the weather was steamy. In combination with Dutchess Tourism and the festival, VKLarsonCommunications, hosted over 20 journalists who enjoyed the wine and the plentiful artisanal food offerings. The annual event offers a wonderful window on the local culture and entrepreneurs but is also an opportunity for the local wineries and distilleries to showcase their products.
